Seeking a qualified candidate for the Bridge/Highway Fabricated Products Division with a minimum Bachelor of Science Degree in an Engineering discipline, and minimum of 5 years experience estimating projects in a steel fabrication related industry. Demonstrated increased level of responsibility in applying education and work experience in a made-to-order manufacturing environment to produce accurate cost estimates is critical.  Candidate must be able to assess commercial risk, and demonstrate comprehension of design and specification criteria in a low bid environment.  Communication skill in coordinating estimates with Regional Sales Managers and developing partnerships on project-specific opportunities with potential customers a must.<br/><br/>Qualifications<br/><br/>* BS in Engineering<br/>* 5 or more years experience related to estimating of steel structures<br/>* Computer literacy including at least an intermediate level of proficiency with email, word processing, spreadsheet and database software applications<br/>* Must have the ability to read/interpret Engineering drawings, sketches and blueprints<br/><br/>BASF recognizes Institutions of Higher Education that are accredited by the Council for Higher Education Accreditation or equivalent.
