Description

Position is responsible for day-to-day product management and the development of new customers for Catamold, BASF's ready-to-mold feedstock for metal and ceramic injection molding, in the United States.

This position is located in the North American headquarters of the BASF Inorganics Division located in Evans City, PA.

Position could require overnight travel of approximately 25%.

Responsibilities:

* Perform product management responsibilities including;
* Price Administration
* Inventory Management
* Coordinate market communications, trade shows and advertising
* Internal management of contracts and other legal agreements
* Assist in the resolution of customer complaints
* Capture and communicate market and competitor information

* Develop new customers using Catamold feedstock.
* Direct customer contact and sales visits
* Develop and execute strategies for specific customers and markets through data collection and analysis.
* Develop/maintain relationships with key decision makers
* Explain technology and benefits and adapt overall message to align with the value proposition of customers at various levels and industries.
* Identify and communicate customer needs to the local and global Catamold business teams

Qualifications

* BS in Engineering and 2+ years industry experience or relevant experience (5+ years experience working with complex metal parts (castings, powder metallurgy, etc) or plastic injection molding)
* Direct customer interface experience
* Strong communication skills with the ability to deal effectively with all levels both inside and outside the organization; including those individuals in procurement/technical functions.
* Strong organization, computer and analytical skills
* Willingness to travel up to 25% mostly domestic with some international
