		<title>Site Reliability Engineer Job (Savannah, GA, US)</title>
		<description><![CDATA[Site Reliability Engineer-0900974<br/><br/>BASF is proud to be an Affirmative Action and Equal Opportunity Employer.<br/><br/>Description<br/><br/>The Savannah, GA BASF Catalysts site is a Fluid catalytic cracking (FCC) catalysts and additives manufacturing facility.<br/><br/>The Site Reliability Engineer provides direction and strategy to the site required to improve plant equipment reliability, on-stream factors, and to ensure sustainable performance through collection and analysis of key data from SAP and other systems. A demonstrated knowledge and experience in developing critical preventive and predictive maintenance strategies along with periodic validation is also required. The Site Reliability Engineer will also be expected to develop, scope, and manage small capital projects as necessary to support site goals and capital investment objectives. This job requires the development and integration of site procedures and technical standards, as well as knowledge of pertinent federal, state, and local codes and regulations as they pertain to the chemical industry.<br/><br/>Qualifications<br/><br/>B.S. Degree in Mechanical Engineering preferred with strong, demonstrated experience in plant equipment reliability, initiatives, and programs.<br/><br/>*<br/><br/>A minimum of 3 years experience in a chemical manufacturing environment.<br/><br/>* Excellent motivational, analytical, and communication skills are required.<br/>* Proven ability to collect, monitor, interpret, and recommend reliability and mechanical integrity improvements in a chemical manufacturing environment.<br/>* Knowledge and experience with formal reliability programs such as TPM, RCM, RCFA.<br/>* Sound experience developing, reviewing, and implementing strategic preventive and predictive maintenance programs and procedures.<br/>* Demonstrated ability to scope, execute, and manage capital projects within budget and on time.<br/>* Must be a self-starter, highly motivated, and maintain a positive, effective attitude under all work conditions.<br/>* Demonstrated knowledge of engineering standards such as ASME and API and their application to process safety and integrity of plant equipment.<br/><br/>BASF recognizes Institutions of Higher Education which are accredited by the Council for Higher Education Accreditation or equivalent.<br/><br/>Primary Location<br/>: United States-Georgia-Savannah<br/><br/>Job Type<br/>: Standard<br/><br/>Shift<br/>: Day Job<br/><br/>Organization<br/>: G-CCP-Process Technologies]]></description>
