		<title>Mgr Human Resources Job (Florham Park, NJ, US)</title>
		<description><![CDATA[Mgr Human Resources<br/><br/>Under the direction of the HR Business Partner responsible for providing the full range of Human Resources support to specific businesses within the Care Chemicals, Intermediates, Performance Chemicals, and Dispersions & Pigments business units.  Additionally acts as the primary HR support for the Washington, NJ site.  Responsible for sound Human Resources practices in: employee relations, recruiting and staffing, training, relocation, compensation, policy implementation, organizational development, talent management, and performance management.  Works with the Business Units to maintain employment records and provides other comprehensive human resources services including counseling, assisting with reviews, compensation, organizational development, EEO, and legal compliance.  <br/><br/>Principle Responsibilities: <br/><br/>1.    Under the direction of the HR Business Partner, formulate human resources strategies that will facilitate the achievement of business goals. <br/><br/>2.    Coordinate employment/placement/transfer/promotion to maintain proper staffing levels in the Business Unit/sites consistent with company policies under EEO/AAP guidelines. <br/><br/>3.    Work with employees/managers to resolve conflicts and provide guidance and counsel for HR issues.  Recommends and/or reviews supervisory recommendations for discipline, suspensions, or terminations. <br/><br/>4.    Interpret and implement changes to BASF HR Policies and Practices for managers/supervisors/employees for effective and consistent employee relations. <br/><br/>5.    Provides consultation on performance management, talent management, and organizational development required to support the businesses.  <br/><br/>This position requires a BS in Human Resources or equivalent degree.  SPHR and/or Masters Degree or MBA is preferred. A minimum 10 years of progressive professional experience in human resources. Must have or be able to gain a thorough knowledge or BASF Corporations Human Resources policies, procedures, practices, company benefit programs, personnel administration systems, salary administration, recruitment strategy and techniques, EEO and Affirmative Action Planning and other areas as appropriate. <br/><br/>Essential Knowledge, Skills and Abilities: <br/><br/>&#149;&#32;Knowledge of the principles and practices of human resource management<br/><br/>&#149;&#32;Ability to manage and administer a broad range of tasks including resolving complaints, counseling managers and employees on the interpretation of policies, procedures and company guidelines<br/><br/>&#149;&#32;Knowledge of federal and state labor laws<br/><br/>&#149;&#32;Ability to express ideas clearly, effectively, and persuasively, both orally and in writing.<br/><br/>&#149;&#32;Ability to analyze employee relations issues accurately and provide advice in a timely manner.<br/><br/>&#149;&#32;Ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships<br/><br/>&#149;&#32;Ability to handle multiple tasks simultaneously.<br/><br/>&#149;&#32;Ability to meet deadlines and objectives.<br/><br/>&#149;&#32;Ability to prepare written reports and correspondence, make presentations to senior leadership as required.<br/><br/>&#149;&#32;Excellent verbal, written and presentation skills<br/><br/>&#149;&#32;Advanced Microsoft Office skills.<br/><br/>BASF recognizes Institutions of Higher Education that are accredited by the Council for Higher Education Accreditation or equivalent. <br/><br/>This position is part of a job family with multiple levels. 		<title>Workforce Planning Analyst Job (Florham Park, NJ, US)</title>
		<description><![CDATA[Workforce Planning Analyst<br/><br/>Purpose of the Job -  The Workforce Analyst will be responsible for the data collection,  superior analyses and interpretation/evaluation of workforce metrics in support of the workforce planning strategy. <br/><br/><b><b><b><b><b>Principal Responsibilities&#58;</b>&#58;</b>&#58;</b>&#58;</b>&#58;</b> -  Four to eight brief statements indicating what is done (Action), how it is done (Method or Means) and why (End Result).
