		<description><![CDATA[Professional Development Program - PhD Chemist/ Chemical Engineer Class of 2010<br/><br/>The PDP recruits highly motivated, mobile-minded, recent college graduates to join BASF Corporation. Participants are provided focused opportunities to develop their professional skills and integrate them into the BASF culture. Through a series of real-world rotational assignments at different sites throughout the United States, participants will explore career options and develop technical and professional decision-making skills, while fulfilling specific business needs. Participants will also have the opportunity to assess their capabilities, skills and interests and gain valuable exposure to BASF's culture and values. Participation in the PDProgram requires participants to focus their expertise on significant challenging opportunities in a fast-paced global environment.   <br/><br/>The Ph.D. Chemistry PDP allows the participant to develop technical expertise, network at senior levels throughout BASF and explore possible career tracks within the company. Assignments in the participant's field of expertise will be designed and planned to enhance career development and deliver immediate value to BASF.   <br/><br/>Two, nine-month assignments provide exposure to various technologies and career opportunities throughout BASF, while promoting the development of technical and professional decision-making skills and fulfilling specific business needs. 		<description><![CDATA[Manager Business Development, High Performance Construction Solutions<br/><br/>The main responsibility for the Manager is to implement the strategic plan to penetrate target markets in the construction industry.  Manager will lead an interdisciplinary team to assemble and validate high performance building systems, and promote these solutions in the target market.  The team will consist of applications experts and market development professionals focusing on the education, government and office segments. 		<title>Manager Corporate Cash Operations and Financial Analysis Job (Florham Park, NJ, US)</title>
		<description><![CDATA[Manager Corporate Cash Operations and Financial Analysis<br/><br/>Under limited supervision, the Manager Finance & Corporate Cash Operations is responsible to the Assistant Treasurer for Corporate Finance and Cash Operations activities as required in order to protect the financial interests of BASF Group in the North American Region in accordance BASF policies.  <br/><br/>Corporate Finance related responsibilities include the evaluation of cost-effective long-term financing, process and control risk management, as well as business support projects.  Business support can be strategic or operational and is related to mergers, acquisitions and divestitures, and financial analysis/modeling.  This position also supports global Finance projects. <br/><br/>Cash Operations related responsibilities include maintenance of the bank account structure to effect and control the movement of funds to and from the corporation and to concentrate the funds in the most effective manner, preparation of the liquidity plan, overseeing the short term borrowing and investment function, and arranging for adequate lines of credit to ensure the liquidity of the company. <br/><br/>Incumbent is often exposed to highly confidential financial information, acquisition plans, etc. limited to very few personnel.
