		<title>Distribution &amp;amp; Transportation Manager Job (Wyandotte, MI, US)</title>
		<description><![CDATA[Distribution&amp;Transportation Manager<br/><br/>This position has responsibility for managing the operations and performance of all Distribution, Transportation & Warehousing (D&T) activities for the Styrenics group.  Performance includes supporting the Styrenics business models with regard to shipments, warehousing, trans-loading, and packaging activities. Specifically, this manager will optimize, track, and manage all cost and service elements associated with finished goods movements into, out of, and within the North American  region. <br/><br/><b><b><b><b><b>Principal Responsibilities&#58;</b>&#58;</b>&#58;</b>&#58;</b>&#58;</b> <br/><br/>&#149;&#32;        Determines the optimum mode of transportation (marine, rail, truck) for Styrenics inbound and outbound shipments and ensures business compliance <br/><br/>&#149;&#32;        Identifies and implements improvements in transportation management processes and procedures <br/><br/>&#149;&#32;        Leads transportation & warehousing management projects and performs transportation analyses as assigned by the Manager, Group Logistics <br/><br/>&#149;&#32;        Functions as the primary Customer Care contact for Styrenics carrier related issues and is the primary NCM investigator for all transportation related NCM's. <br/><br/>&#149;&#32;        Responsible for Transportation & Warehousing related KPIs.   <br/><br/>&#149;&#32;        Coordinates and Manages the railcar fleet with the Rail Command Center and monitors/tracks railcars <br/><br/>&#149;&#32;        Develops marine / rail / truck freight rates for new lanes / routes <br/><br/>&#149;&#32;        Serves as the Styrenics Transportation Safety Coordinator and Emergency Response Contact <br/><br/><b>Required Qualifications&#58;</b>   <br/><br/>* BA or BS degree in Business, Logistics or related field required <br/><br/>* A minimum of seven (7) years logistics / supply chain experience. 		<description><![CDATA[Research Chemist<br/><br/>This position is being created to further strengthen the recently established High Temperature Polymerization Research Group at Wyandotte. 		<description><![CDATA[Market Development Specialist Sr. I - Construction<br/><br/>The role of the Market Development Specialist is to facilitate/achieve new profitable business (EBITDA margin) through innovation, new business development, and new projects to meet global and regional strategy goals within the BASF Foams business. Main responsibilities include: <br/><br/>&#149;&#32; Sales Responsibilities:  Sales responsibilities include working with sales management and technical service team to achieve aggressive business targets set forth in multi year operational plan.  New product launch execution is an integral part of the future success within the business.  Ability to extract value pricing from customers in volatile raw materials market is a critical component of this role.  Adopt team approach between Market Development   and Sales Team for negotiation strategies and sales planning.  Coordinate regional sales follow up activity to Market Development Specialist lead generation, so business is directed to partner converters and success tracked. <br/><br/>&#149;&#32; Global Projects and Initiatives:   Support and leadership for global innovation initiatives (dotted line reporting to Global Innovation Manager).
