Scientist The Scientist will be a member of the QC Team in the BASF Plant Science QC laboratory at RTP. The Quality Control group plays a vital role in the company's overall QA System assessing how well materials match product specifications and quality standards. The position is responsible for: analyzing data utilizing molecular biology tools, sequencing and data handling software independently planning, managing and performing work-tasks with great accuracy and reproducibility interacting and clearly communicate results with customers streamlining processes for higher efficiency and quality finding alternative technologies, developing and implementing new protocols for increased standards. Required

Qualifications
: M.S. with at least 4 years of experience in relevant areas, Bachelors with 7 years experience in relevant areas. Experience working in quality control within the biotechnology industry is required. Relavant experience will include: using molecular biology tools such as;sequencing, data handling software and PCR, and development of high throughput methods including automation. High degree of detail orientation and accuracy. Demonstrated strong skills in work management A Team player!
