Production Engineer MIDGA Operations mines and beneficiates kaolin. Products are manufactured for the Paper, Specialty Kaolin, and Petroleum Catalyst market segments. The position described herein is for a Production Engineer to support on-going operations. The Production Engineer will provide all facets of production management support including technical, facilitate decision making for timely problem solving / issue resolution, strategic planning, customer relations, and backfill for plant superintendent. He / she will participate in or lead teams aimed at optimizing processes and managing the site operations.

Qualifications
: B.S. Degree in Chemical, Mechanical, or Materials Science Engineering with 7 to 10 years of experience in a related process industry. Kaolin processing experience is a plus. Must possess a strong technical / problem solving aptitude. Demonstrate the interpersonal skills needed to build trust and establish relationships quickly and effectively through all levels of the organization.
