Supply Chain Planner I The incumbent will be located in Geismar, and will report to the KUN Supply Chain Manager. The primary responsibilities of this position include: material planning for the KUN/B Geismar polyol business inventory management for polyol at all Locations:, including third party terminals and packagers export planning for the polyol business driving performance improvement in the area of polyol logistics nonconformances back-up support for the polyol production planner miscellaneous polyol supply chain optimization projects The Supply Chain Planner is part of a job family, and we reserve the option of filling this position at a level commensurate wuth the skills and experience level of the successful candidate. BA or BS degree in supply chain or business is preferred. BASF recognizes Institutions of Higher Education which are accredited by the Council for Higher Education Accreditation or equivalent. Minimum of 3 years of experience in logistics, supply chain, or customer service required. Working knowledge of SAP (or similar MRP system) is required. Previous experience in plant operations and/or tank farm operations is preferred. APICS certification preferred, and CPIM or CSCP required within 2 years of accepting job.
