We offer Engineering students (Chemical, Civil, Construction, Electrical, Mechanical) the opportunity to spend a summer working at a North American BASF site (such as Freeport, TX; Geismar, LA; Peekskill, NY; Washington, NJ; Wyandotte, MI). Interns will participate in various Engineering projects which will provide the opportunity to further develop both technical and professional skills. These practical and meaningful assignments will give interns an opportunity to apply what they've learned in school. We offer a competitive salary and networking opportunities with Senior Management during the 10 to 12-week program.
Engineering Major (Chemical, Civil, Construction, Electrical, Mechanical)
Demonstrated academic achievement (Minimum GPA 3.0)
Excellent written and oral communication skills
Authorization to work in the US without restrictions
Outstanding work ethic
Proven leadership skills
Active participation in extracurricular activities and on-campus organizations
Full-Time undergraduate students (graduating in December 2010-May 2013)
Mobile minded
Bilingual (a plus)
